Earlier this fall, we spotlighted the top five biggest trends in women’s fall boots, and one of the styles that we absolutely cannot get enough of this season is the ever-popular combat boot. Once associated with goth, punk and grunge fashion circles, this '90s trend made its first 21^st century reappearance on French runways in 2014, and has since become a staple in the closet of every fashionista. And they’re not going away anytime soon.

It’s easy to see why combat boots quickly came back into vogue. They’re comfortable, durable, and – let’s face it – just plain cool. And with their thick treads, durable construction and utilitarian vibe, they’re the ultimate choice for any off the beaten track wanderer.
